At our kindergarten, we believe that children learn and grow best in a safe, supportive, and pressure-free environment. Therefore, we adopt a biannual assessment system supervised by the Academic Director, through a comprehensive written evaluation conducted after ensuring that all academic materials have been thoroughly reviewed with the students. In addition, remedial lessons are provided for students who experience general academic weakness, particularly due to frequent absences.

This assessment aims to monitor each child’s academic, behavioral, and skill development, and to identify strengths as well as areas that require further support.

We ensure that this evaluation is conducted without informing children that it is an exam, as we fully recognize that traditional exams can negatively affect a child’s psychological well-being, causing anxiety or fear, which may impact their performance and self-confidence. Therefore, parents are informed in advance of the assessment date so they can support home revision without informing the child of the reason for the review.

Our assessment is based on:

• Continuous observation

• Monitoring skill development

• Measuring comprehension and understanding through indirect methods

• Considering individual differences among children

Our goal is to understand and support each child’s needs, not to pressure them or compare them to others.

نؤمن في روضتنا بأن الطفل يتعلم وينمو بشكل أفضل في بيئة آمنة، داعمة، وخالية من الضغط. لذلك نعتمد نظام التقييم مرتين سنويًا من قبل المديرة الأكاديمية من خلال تقييم كتابي شامل تقوم به المديرة بعد أن يتم التأكد من مراجعة جميع المواد للطلاب و اعطاء دروس تقوية للطلاب الذين يعانون من ضعف اكاديمي عام بسبب كثرة الغياب. إن تقييم المديرة الاكاديمية يهدف إلى متابعة تطور الطفل الأكاديمي والسلوكي والمهاري.

نحرص على أن يتم هذا التقييم دون إبلاغ الأطفال بأنه امتحان، لأننا ندرك تمامًا أن الامتحانات التقليدية قد تؤثر سلبًا على نفسية الطفل، وتسبب له القلق أو الخوف، مما ينعكس على أدائه وثقته بنفسه. لذلك يتم اعلام أولياء الامور بموعد التقييم ليتم المراجعة في المنزل دون ابلاغ الطفل بسبب المراجعة.

تقييمنا يعتمد على:

• الملاحظة المستمرة

• متابعة تطور المهارات

• قياس الفهم والاستيعاب بأسلوب غير مباشر

• مراعاة الفروق الفردية بين الأطفال

هدفنا هو فهم احتياجات كل طفل ودعمه، وليس الضغط عليه أو مقارنته بغيره.
